Members Access

Please log on below using the Society’s generic user name and password and access the member’s area. Here members can search an index of data stored on our database (>4500 records so far), view our events calendar, receive details of member’s exclusive offers, pin themselves onto a guest map, view old issues of the Society magazine and contribute to a surname forum etc.

Newletters

All members will receive a copy of our regular e-newsletter. This contains updates on what the society is doing, information about our public meetings and lots of other information. For those people not on email, a copy can be posted out on request.

09 Oct - The Family History Society of Buchan will be holding its next open meeting on Thursday 9th October at Arbuthnot House in Peterhead at 7pm.This time we will have two speakers; Shirley Dickie, our local Registrar, will be giving us an insight into the records she has available for the family researcher in the registrars office in Peterhead, and Rita Gordon will be talking about other records available for the local area, such as the Poor Law registers

27 Sep - St Fergus MI - The FHSB will undertake a second day of memorial inscription recording out at the Pirates Kirkyard. Please contact Anne to details.
